Get found — SEO & AI discoverability

A beautiful store only sells if people can find it. Budhil is built to be found by search engines and the new wave of AI shopping assistants — much of it works out of the box.

What's automatic

  • Fast pages. Your store is server-rendered and lean, so it loads quickly — which both shoppers and search engines reward.
  • Structured product data. Products include machine-readable details (Schema.org), so search engines and AI assistants can understand what you sell — price, availability, and more.
  • Share cards. Links shared to social show a proper title, description, and image (set your social share image).
  • Clean URLs for products, collections, and pages.

What you should do

  • Write clear product titles and descriptions — say what it is in plain words a shopper would type or ask.
  • Name collections sensibly — they become browsable, indexable pages.
  • Add real content pages (About, guides) — more useful text means more ways to be found. See Content pages.
  • Use descriptive image filenames and product photos — they help image search.

Why AI discoverability matters

Shoppers increasingly start with an AI assistant ("find me a single-origin dark roast under $20") rather than a search box. Because your catalogue is structured and fast, your products are positioned to show up in those answers — an advantage most small-store builders don't give you. Richer agent feeds are rolling out; watch the release notes.

Turn tutorials into discoverable text

If you publish guides or videos, include a written transcript — text is what search engines and AI assistants actually read.
