Quick start¶
From sign-up to a live store in about 20 minutes. Each step links to a deeper guide.
1. Create your store¶
Go to budhil.com and start a new store. You'll choose a store name and pick a starter template — a fully designed store you can edit, so you never face a blank page.
Your store opens immediately at your-store.budhil.com. You can add a custom domain later.
2. Secure your account¶
On first sign-in you'll set up two-factor authentication (2FA) with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy, etc.). This is required — it protects your orders and customer data. Keep your recovery codes somewhere safe.
3. Add your products¶
Open Products → Add product. Set a name, price, photo, and (optionally) variants like size or colour. See Products & variants for badges, "from" pricing, and inventory.
In a hurry?
Your starter template already has placeholder products. Edit those first to learn the flow, then add your own.
4. Connect payments¶
Open Payments and connect Stripe so you can take real money. Until you connect, your store runs in demo mode (orders won't charge). Full walkthrough: Connect payments.
5. Make it yours¶
Open Editor to arrange your home page with blocks — hero, product grid, testimonials, FAQ, and more. Set your colours, logo, and fonts in Settings. See Storefront editor.
6. Add your domain (optional)¶
In Domains, connect a domain you own (e.g. yourbrand.com) and follow the DNS steps. See Custom domain.
7. Go live¶
Run the Go-live checklist — a test order, shipping, email, and policies — then share your link.
